Greetings
As the company name indicates, Kansen Expander Industrial Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer that specializes in expander rolls.
An expander roll refers to a bow-shaped roll with a special structure that is used in the manufacturing process to form sheet-shaped base materials, such as paper, films, and fabrics. It removes wrinkles and shrinkages and spreads the base material. Our expander rolls are used by customers in various industries as essential auxiliary equipment to improve quality.
In 1932, Kansai Dyeing Machine Shokai was founded. In 1948, it went through an entity conversion to Kansai Dyeing Machine Co., Ltd. The company’s business developed by manufacturing and selling dyeing machines and other products (mainly dyeing and finishing machines). In 1952, the company succeeded in the development of the first curved expander roll in Japan (under the product name of KSK Rubber Expander Roll). The company name was changed to the current name. In 1963, the president won the Medal with Yellow Ribbon, with a recommendation from the Science and Technology Agency, for the accomplishment of improving the KSK Rubber Expander Roll based on creative ideas. The company obtained many patents as a pioneering expander roll manufacturer and has committed itself to the business of rubber expander rolls for paper, films, and other materials.
We will further acquire expertise to become a company focusing on the development of products and technologies.
Based on the management philosophy of “a small group of qualified professionals working in harmony and through teamwork,” we have built a steadfast and sound management base to ensure swift action. (We are a member of the Hirakata Excellent Companies.)
We will work to meet customers’ expectations. We would appreciate your patronage and support into the future.
Tsutomu Hidaka
